The rhythm of B ITB's heart, is beating like a drum

"I had a check up this morning (well a reschedule check up because last week Jackson got sick in the middle of my appointment and puked all over me, TWICE) to finally hear baby’s heart beat. My OB is out on maternity leave, having delivered her own son on the 12^th, so I met another doctor at my health center today. She told me that 11 weeks is still pretty early to find a heart beat and that it may take a while, but as soon as she put the Doppler wand to my belly we heard the waa-ooo-waa-ooo-waa-ooo of the heart. 170 beats per minute. Pretty good. Hearing the heartbeat makes this seem all the more real. We’re really going to have another baby."
