Three of a kind

"I have to do a little back tracking, I wish I had been a little more on top of recording things for this pregnancy from mid-July to mid-August, but well, no one’s perfect.

When Jackson and I returned from Charlevoix, July 6, we made a two night layover in Chicago to visit with Claire, Matt, Ellie & Noah Swanson. Claire and I went to camp together and both ended up marrying guys with ‘Swan’ last names! We also went through our pregnancies together. Claire had her twins, Ellie and Noah, 6 weeks after I had Jackson.

I was excited to share my news with Claire, and even more excited to hear that she and Matt were expecting again. The day Jackson and I left, they found out they are having twins again!!! How fun (and overwhelming) for them. They are just thrilled.

Jackson and I loved our visit. It was wonderful to see him play with Ellie and Noah, and for me to get to know these little ones. My two favorite moments were: the bus ride back from the Nature Museum where Ellie and Noah just couldn’t keep their eyes open, and taking the kids out to ice cream.We had such a wonderful time. Can't wait for the next round to get together!"
